As mentioned above, buy them from a local lumberyard as opposed to Home Depot. Andersen will ship a "Van Load" to their Circle of Excellence Lumber Yards.

WEBAug 5, 2008 · Based on dollar for dollar and option for option, I would always choose Pella in my house. Eagle is also a very good choice but I haven't dealt with them as much. If you want cheap, easy to get, low end, low cost windows, you go to Home Depot or Lowes but like someone said, don't expect the same window.

I don't know what the market is like in Arkansas, but around here, they are almost always looking for more install crews.

WEBFeb 23, 2009 · Paintable Silicone. The main problem with silicone caulk is that most of it isn't paintable. There is a "silicone 3" (various brands and name variations) that is paintable. Good stuff, but hard to get out of the tube, as noted above on some of the other high-end caulk. Around $7 per tube.
