The path to get up close was closed but it was still a huge and impressive waterfall to visit. Only 5-10 minutes of walking from the carpark and there was a big shop and a cafe and toilets by the car… Full review by Olivia_Abroad

This is a very nice waterfall but I think the one coming out lava is nicer. Best place to take photos is from the lower parking lot. Full review by GoPlaces648973

What an amazing sight! It was a cold, icy and then rainy day but worth it for one of the most awesome waterfalls you will ever see! Full review by sharont176

I would estimate from the first viewing area 75-100 very wet steps and there may not be handrails all along. The steps are not for mobility challenged persons in any way. Also …

I would estimate from the first viewing area 75-100 very wet steps and there may not be handrails all along. The steps are not for mobility challenged persons in any way. Also consider that for the number of steps down you also have the same number of steps up.

For Gullfloss you’re fine driving there in a regular car as the roads are all paved.
