Michael J. Dougherty, MD, is the director of radiation oncology at UPMC and The Washington Hospital Cancer Center, and assistant clinical professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He sees all radiation oncology cases and has an interest in prostate seed implantation. Dr. Dougherty is board-certified in radiation oncology. He received an undergraduate degree at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., and completed a medical degree at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. Dr. Dougherty completed a transitional internship at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh, and a residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
