The rooms are empty, and they give you a tablet. I would 100% recommend to grab their tablet where you scan the QR code for each place and you'll see through the screen how the areas looked like back… Full review by kaori T

Ooops. I misread the question. The pope's palace was one of about ten areas we stopped and explored. The area I liked best was the Point du Gard with the Roman aqueduct, Les Baux de Provence with its Fortified village and the old stone quarry where they have a fantastic light show against the walls inside the quarry.
