We possibly may have luggage (small suitcase) with us as we would like to do this before we leave DC. Is this not allowed in the museum/is there anywhere I could store the luggage?

I was wondering how far of distance is it to the National Geographic museum, the holocaust museum and the Natural History museum. Is there parking (even if it cost money) to where I can park at one museum and walk to the other museums or are they far distances from each other. Advice please?

In terms of parking, you can find street parking by the National Museum of Natural History, but there is a time limit on how long you can keep your car there. I believe there may be a lot near the Holocaust Museum for a fee, but I am not sure of the cost.
