End your day with the most gorgeous, unforgettable sunsets. Located 6 miles from Calumet and the snowmobile trails. If there is enough snow on the side of the road, you can ride to the trails. If snow is not on the shoulder of roads, you will have to trailer sleds to trail head, about six miles from the house. 20 miles from Michigan Tech and across the road from the Black Creek Sanctuary, excellent snow shoeing trails. Approximately 55 minutes to Copper Harbor, the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Mount Bohemia ski resort is a scenic 45 minute drive.
