Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff are aiming to have one of the top recruiting classes in the nation for 2026. Here's a look at each commitment, plus an early preview at 2027.

Alabama football’s freshman quarterback, Keelon Russell is happy to have Ryan Grubb back in Tuscaloosa as the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator.  Grubb is officially back in Tuscaloosa after a very short stint with the Tide upon Kalen DeBoer’s hiring at Alabama and a year as the Seattle Seahawks’ head coach.

Alabama has two pitchers on its 2025 roster by way of Penn; Ozmer is one, Heintz is the other. The latter owns 55 strikeouts in four seasons with the Quakers, with 33 of those coming in 2022. He pitched in eight games in 2024, totaling 10.1 innings and nine runs.

The Alabama Crimson Tide could be the team to beat for a fast-rising 2026 defensive lineman. Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney noted on Thursday that Alabama "could have the edge" for 2026 four-star defensive lineman Kamhariyan Johnson.
