The family that has for decades held complete control over everything involving the globe-trotting superspy is relinquishing it to Amazon.

For over six decades, the Broccoli family has been as much a part of the James Bond film franchise as vodka martinis (shaken, not stirred, of course), beautiful women and henchmen with terrible aim.

Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli will remain co-owners in a new joint venture with Amazon MGM that hands over the creative reins and control of all future production to the Jeff Bezos-founded company.
