The cemetery is located at Cocoa Boulevard and Pine Street. It is on land that Williams said was donated by the Dixon family for Blacks to have a formal burial ground and is one of several predominantly Black sites that hearken back to a time when segregation was the norm, even in the graveyard.

Families in Cocoa are furious after a historic cemetery was hit by vandals. Parts of The Hilltop Cemetery were spray painted, including at least one headstone. Families are worried that the damage could continue if someone isn't caught.

Hilltop Cemetery serves as a resting place for hundreds of families in Cocoa. The historically Black cemetery was established in 1877, with tombstones dating back to World War I. Recently, a tombstone and some of the surrounding structure of the cemetery were vandalized and covered in red spray paint.

Chocolate maker and cocoa processor Barry Callebaut reported a lower sales volume than expected for its first quarter on Wednesday, hit by delayed orders as its clients renegotiate product prices with retailers amid record high cocoa costs.

The company said it expected its full-year sales volume to fall by a low single-digit percentage. It had previously said it expected flat cocoa sales volume for the fiscal year, as the raw material trades in London at around 8,700 pounds ($10,737.54) per metric ton.
