Chase Elliott admired how the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at COTA ended, noting how the final lap came down to the wire in Christopher Bell's win.

From the start of Sunday's EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas, Chase Elliott was behind the eight-ball.

The drivers, the Fox broadcast team and fans were confused early in the race around the 2.33-mile track when multiple drivers, including the early race leader Shane van Gisbergen repeatedly cut the corner on Turn 6 without penalty. Chase Elliott was not quite able to battle for the win despite an impressive comeback drive after being spun by Ross Chastain at COTA.
