Glenmorangie revealed a new campaign for its single malt Scotch whisky, in which Harrison Ford travels to Scotland and embraces its culture – including wearing a kilt.

How far would you go for some great Scotch whisky? For Harrison Ford, the answer is that he'll go all the way to Scotland. In a new ad campaign for Glenmorangie Scotch, Ford appears in a kilt, surrounded by bagpipes, like a total Scottish cliché. And in a new series of ads, Ford jokes about getting on a mountain in Scotland to hawk awesome Scotch.

Edgerton, 50, who has starred in films such as Baz Luhrmann’s “The Great Gatsby” and directed “Boy Erased” and “The Gift,” spoke about working with Ford, 82, in an interview with Variety published on Tuesday, the same day the promos for Glenmorangie Scotch Whisky were released.

A little under five months after Harrison Ford was spotted in Scotland staying at the Glenmorangie House, the actor has been unveiled as the star of an ad campaign for the iconic scotch whisky brand.

The films, which will appear on TV and social media, show the star getting to grips with Scottish pronunciation and kilt etiquette.

The Glenmorangie campaign also featured Justin O’Shea as creative director, Lachlan Bailey as photographer, and Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Christine Centenera as stylist. It marked both Ford’s first trip to the Scottish Highlands, and his first time working with Edgerton, two experiences which he enjoyed.
