Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai, clad in a green dhoti, flogged himself in front of his residence in Coimbatore, protesting against the state police.

While addressing the media in his hometown Coimbatore, Annamalai accused the DMK government for the deteriorating law and order in the state and removed his shoes, saying that he won’t wear any shoes until the ruling government is overthrown in the state.

K Annamalai, the Tamil Nadu president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Thursday vowed to not wear sandals and walk barefoot till the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government isn’t removed from power.
