Michigan has signed former Alabama running back Justice Haynes, the No. 1 rated tailback in the transfer portal during this winter cycle. The true sophomore and former five-star prospect is headed to Ann Arbor after two seasons in Tuscaloosa, and will have two seasons of collegiate eligibility remaining with the Maize and Blue.

It's been a long time coming that Michigan football had been hoping to get one of, if not its top targets in the fold via the transfer portal. And after weeks of waiting, the Wolverines officially got their guy.

Former 5-star recruit Justice Haynes was rated the No. 3 RB and No. 34 overall player in the nation coming out of Georgia, per 247 Sports.

Michigan added two quarterbacks in the fold after signing five-star freshman Bryce Underwood and veteran Mikey Keene from the transfer portal. Michigan had already signed former Indiana receiver Donaven McCulley and now the Wolverines are looking to add at least one more playmaker.
