Even as the rain has subsided for the day, evacuation orders are still in place for low-lying areas around the Russian River between Healdsburg and Jenner after a home was pushed into the swollen river.

Despite Wednesday's sunny weather, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said that previous evacuation orders along the Russian River​ prompted by this week's atmospheric river are still in effect.

The NWS says excessive rainfall is expected to cause flooding along the Russian River, affecting roadways and agricultural land.
