Firefighters in Braintree are battling a two alarm fire on Franklin Street on Saturday. The Braintree Police Department announced on social media that the Braintree Fire Department was operating a second alarm fire and the public should avoid the area of Franklin Street and Washington Street.

Fire crews responded to a house fire Saturday morning in the South Chicago neighborhood. Flames and smoke were seen pouring from the home near 83rd and Brandon Avenue around 7 a.m. Firefighters were able to douse the flames.

Crews are battling a house fire Friday afternoon in Carbon County. According to the Carbon County Communications Center, crews were called to the 400 block of South Street just after 1:00 p.m. for a structure fire.
