Protests in New Delhi follow a violent attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada, as community leaders demand accountability and safety for worshippers.

Security was beefed up outside the Canada High Commission in Chanakyapuri area after many Sikh protesters climbed the barricades and raised slogans against the violence inside a temple in Canada’s Brampton.

Peel Region Police have arrested four individuals, including a pro-Khalistani Inderjeet Gosal, in connection with a violent altercation at a Hindu temple in Brampton, with further arrests expected as the investigation continues.

The Peel Police has charged Indrajeet Gosal with ‘assault with a weapon’. He was later released on conditions.

On November 3, Hindu devotees, including women and children, were attacked with sticks by Khalistani extremists.
