London hosted the world premiere of 'Gladiator II', the sequel to the Oscar Best Picture-winning 2000 film 'Gladiator'

Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington joined director Ridley Scott on the red carpet at the royal premiere of "Gladiator II" in London Wednesday. (Nov. 13)

Gladiator II star Paul Mescal said he was glad to get the chance to work on an action film where he could also show his range of acting, but claimed it was a very different environment to Aftersun and All Of Us Strangers.

He starred in "Normal People" and "Aftersun," and now he will appear in the second instalment of "Gladiator." To become a worthy successor to Russell Crowe, Mescal had to gain a lot of muscle mass, and he's eager to talk about it.
