The suspected gunman was identified by the LAPD was 18-year-old Jorge Armeta. He was booked at Van Nuys Jail on a murder charge with a bail set at $2 million.

A deadly shooting at a Ralphs supermarket in Sun Valley killed one person and wounded another late Tuesday, Nov. 11. Around 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, Los Angeles police officers responded to the shooting at 8325 Laurel Canyon Blvd., south of Roscoe Boulevard.

An investigation continued in East Los Angeles following the shooting death of a man overnight Sunday. The shooting unfolded around 12:22 a.m. at the intersection of Dennison Street and Hicks Avenue. When deputies responded, they located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
