A California sheriff’s deputy saved the life of a driver who lost control of her vehicle and ended up in a flooded creek, according to authorities—and the rescue was caught on camera.

The car ended up in the flooded creek and “became inoperable” with the doors and windows locking, deputies said. The car began to fill up with water, but the driver was able to call 911 and Deputy Mike Dawson arrived at the scene, officials said.
