Black Monday has arrived in the NFL. While 14 teams are preparing for the playoffs, the other 18 are beginning their offseason. For some of those teams, that means starting over. The Monday following the NFL regular season traditionally brings firings of both head coaches and general managers,

Even though owner Robert Kraft quickly decided to fire Jerod Mayo after the Patriots finished 4-13 and last in the AFC East for the second straight year, Kraft made sure to emphasize that he believed Mayo could be a successful NFL head coach.

With the regular season over, NFL Black Monday has arrived. Here are the coaches and general managers that were let go by their employers.

Over the past decade, there have been 10 non-interim head coaches who were fired after one season (or less) at the helm.

Allen was the latest victim of the Carolina Reaper. This affectionate nickname has been given to Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. He hasn't had much success early in his professional career, but Young leading improbable wins led to several coaches losing their jobs with Allen being the most recent.
