The Jets have made it official, announcing the signing of QB Justin Fields.

That’s the length of Aaron Rodgers’ ongoing NFL career. And for the first time in that span, he is a free agent. Sounds a little odd, right? That’s precisely what a ‘Breakfast Ball’ analyst feels. He also questioned the New York Jets’ trust in Justin Fields and pointed out his own reasons for still believing in the 41-year-old veteran.

What likely attracted the Jets to Fields was his play in 2024 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. While Fields was eventually pulled in favor of veteran Russell Wilson last season when the veteran was healthy. That didn't make sense to everyone since Fields had a 4-2 record during his spell as the starter.
