Longtime New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick suggested that the Vince Lombardi Trophy, given annually to the Super Bowl winning team, should be renamed after quarterback Tom Brady.

Gray then quipped that they don't call the Super Bowl trophy "The Starr Trophy", after former Packers quarterback Bart Starr, but rather "The Lombardi Trophy", after his head coach Vince Lombardi—who led Green Bay to the first two Super Bowl wins in history.

When co-host Jim Gray pointed out that the Vince Lombardi Trophy, awarded to every Super Bowl-winning team, is named after a legendary coach and not a player, Belichick had a simple response. "Maybe they should name it the Brady Trophy. He won seven of them," he stated plainly.
