The West Virginia University gymnastics team (1-0) earned a first-place finish in its season-opening dual meet at Temple inside McGonigle Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Saturday afternoon.

Olivia Cochran led the Cards with 14 points and a team-best eight rebounds. Ja'Leah Williams had a team-best four assists to go with 12 points on 5-for-9 shooting.
