British singer Robbie Williams has disclosed he was invited to perform at King Charles III’s coronation concert in 2023, but declined in favour of a better-paying work commitment.

Though fans couldn’t see him then, they can catch the British superstar in his unusual new biopic, Better Man, in which a CGI monkey version of Williams takes viewers through a series of over-the-top musical numbers illustrating the singer’s wild days and nights as a boy bander and solo star.

Andrea Bocelli, Take That, Sir Bryn Terfel, Freya Ridings and Alexis Ffrench were also part of the Coronation Concert lineup which celebrated "a new chapter in the nation's history, with themes of love, respect and optimism, celebrating the four nations, their communities and the Commonwealth," as per the BBC.
