The Afeela 1's debut model, the Signature series, will start at $102,900 and deliveries are slated to start in mid-2026. If that's a bit too steep for you, consider waiting until 2027 for the Origin trim. That one is only going to be $89,900. Refundable reservations will be taken online for $200 .
The Afeela 1 is Sony Honda Mobility’s first-ever car
The Afeela 1 is an electric four-door saloon that can do a claimed 300 miles between charges. The Japanese joint venture group Sony Honda Mobility has revealed its first car – the Afeela 1. Sony Honda Mobility was established in 2022 with the two firms in partnership to build electric vehicles.
Honda and Sony launch Afeela 1 electric car at CES 2025 with 483 km range
The Afeela 1 appears to be based on the same platform which underpins the Honda 0 Series electric cars. The Honda-Sony EV comes with dual electric motor offering output of 482 bhp. The Afeela 1 is equipped with a 91kWh lithium-ion battery pack which promises to offer up to 483 kms of range in a single charge.
