The Washington Huskies men's basketball team was looking up at the rest of the Big Ten when the Indiana Hoosiers came to town for a game on Saturday at Alaska Airlines Arena. The Huskies were unable to claw back from the conference basement and fell 78-62 to the Hoosiers.

The Indiana basketball team picked up a 78-62 win on the road against Washington on Saturday night. IU improved to 18-11 overall and 9-9 in the Big Ten. Malik Reneau came off the bench and led the team with 22 points and six rebounds.

With consecutive wins over Purdue and Penn State, the Hoosiers are now playing for an NCAA Tournament spot again. Most brackets have them in the First Four again this year in Dayton, so every game counts towards getting more safely in the field.
