The exact moment of the supermoon is 4:29 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, November 15, but it will appear to be full from early Thursday morning through just before sunrise on Sunday, according to NASA’s Gordon Johnston.

November's full moon, known as the Beaver Moon, will peak tomorrow and is the fourth and final time stargazers will be able to see a supermoon in 2024. Like October's full moon, the Beaver Moon won't be at full peak at night,

A supermoon occurs whenever a full moon coincides with the moon approaching its closest distance to the Earth—a point, known as perigee, that’s about 226,000 miles away—during its 27-day orbit, though NASA does not recognize it as an official astronomical term.
