Some parts of South Florida had a foggy start to Wednesday. A dense fog advisory went into effect late Tuesday and will be in place until 8 a.m. for inland Broward and Miami-Dade counties, the National Weather Service said.

On Sunday at 4:44 a.m. a dense fog advisory was issued by the NWS Wakefield VA. The advisory is for Western Currituck and Eastern Currituck as well as Northampton, Hertford, Gates, Pasquotank, Camden,

The NWS Wakefield VA issued a weather alert at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, warning residents of dense fog until 10:45 p.m. The alert is for Western Currituck as well as Pasquotank, Camden, Chowan and Perquimans counties.
