The Denver Nuggets picked up their 28th victory of the season Thursday night as they took down the Sacramento Kings 132-123. While their victory was impressive, it was overlooked due to an incredible play by their star center Nikola Jokić.

Anthony Edwards scored 34 points with nine assists to lead Minnesota. In the process, he became Minnesota's franchise leader in 3-pointers made, jumping past Karl-Anthony Towns with 976 career triples. Edwards also set the mark with some flash, nailing this 3 from the center-court logo:

On Thursday against the Sacramento Kings, Jokic came up big to help the Nuggets take a 132-123 victory. The three-time NBA MVP finished the night with a monstrous triple-double of 35 points, 22 rebounds and 17 assists. He shot an efficient 63.2 percent from the field while also doing his job defensively with one steal and two blocks.

Jokić became the first player to get 30 points, 20 rebounds and 15 assists in an NBA game since Wilt Chamberlain.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokić continue to set the Kia MVP pace for each other and the rest of the field.

The Minnesota Timberwolves aren't that far from replicating last year's success. Dominating Denver on Saturday is evidence of that.
