A threat to shoot a dog made on social media was not made locally, San Antonio police said. San Antonio Police Department officials shared the images of the graphic threat on the department's Facebook on Tuesday night. The threat, which was typed on a black background, began by asking: "Anyone want a dog before I put a bullet in its head."

On Wednesday, January 8, the SAPD announced 47-year-old Jamie ray Rencher was arrested and charged with tying up and sexually assaulting a woman.
