The NBA announced today that Pelicans center Yves Missi has been selected to compete in the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars, which will take place on Friday, Feb.14 at Chase Center in San Francsico as part of NBA All-Star 2025.

Of course, most of the Pelicans roster has dealt with injuries this season, including their star duo of Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. While Zion recently returned from a hamstring injury that kept him out for over two months, Ingram remains out of the lineup with an ankle injury.

The Raptors started 0-10 away from home before winning at New Orleans on Nov. 27. Pelicans: Coach Willie Green was ejected for a double technical with 7:22 left in the fourth after he went onto the court to argue a non-call on Williamson’s driving basket.

McCollum entered the record books, hitting a 3-pointer at the final buzzer to break the franchise record for 3-pointers made. It was the 629th 3-pointer since McCollum arrived in New Orleans three years ago. He passed Jrue Holiday, who made 628 in his seven seasons in New Orleans.
