An American Airlines employee has died following a single vehicle accident on the tarmac at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
"We are devastated by the accident involving a team member at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family," AA said.
The unidentified employee was working on the aircraft’s ramp when they were struck by a ramp vehicle around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
