The Portland Trail Blazers will host the Orlando Magic for the first and only time this year. More Blazers: Blazers’ Scoot Henderson Earns Huge Honor at NBA All-Star Weekend The Balzers will look to earn their 19th win of the season and sixth in their last seven games.
Henderson had an excellent run about two weeks ago, and then he had a few quiet games that likely scared managers. However, after scoring 25 points with five 3-pointers on Sunday, Scoot had a really efficient performance against the Bucks. They’ll unleash him at some point, though we’re hoping it’ll be sooner rather than later.
Sharpe closed Tuesday's 125-112 win over the Bucks with 17 points (6-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 31 minutes. Sharpe had been ice cold prior to Tuesday, so this performance was a step in the right direction.
Grant injured his right ankle in Tuesday's win against the Bucks. The veteran is dealing with soreness in that ankle, which puts his status in doubt for Thursday's matchup against Orlando. The third-year guard, who lost his starting job because of frequent defensive lapses, responded with a strong performance.
Anfernee Simons scored 24 points, Deandre Ayton had 22 points and 15 rebounds, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Miami Heat 116-107 on Tuesday night. Jerami Grant finished with 18 points and Deni Avdija added 16 for the Blazers,
