The Sharks (11-23-6) have now lost 11 of their last 12 games and are 0-7-1 since a 4-3 win over the St. Louis Blues on Dec. 12. The problem for San Jose is that Tuesday’s game against the Flyers (16-17-4) might have been its most winnable for the rest of the homestand.
