An arctic air mass will impact all of southeast Michigan through Wednesday as the coldest temperatures of the winter so far arrive this week. A cold weather advisory is in effect through Wednesday for all of the region.

Dangerously cold weather will put much of the United States into a deep freeze over the weekend as temperatures are expected to plunge by up to 40 degrees behind an Arctic air mass.

Former president George W. Bush took the internet by storm during the 2025 Inauguration of President Donald Trump, where the 43rd president seemed to have a playful moment during the proceedings. Probably the only reasonable response to such a speech. 'I could watch this all day,' wrote one X user.

Snow, sleet and freezing rain are set to fall across parts of southern Texas, southern Georgia and northern Florida as the storm heads east Tuesday.

High pressure will bring a dry air mass, and that weather system can cut the chances of snowfall, especially in the northwestern part of the Midlands. Some areas may have a trace of snow but, areas to the south of the region could have 1 - 2 inches of snowfall.

In the wake of a snowstorm that dumped up to 8 inches across Massachusetts, the Bay State is preparing for a blast of arctic air that will bring wind chills at or below zero for much of the state.
