Audi looks poised to join in on the extreme off-road segment with its latest EV SUV concept. Known as the Audi Q6 E-Tron Off-Road, this portal axle-rocking beast takes things far beyond the brand’s typical Allroad treatment.

The Q6 E-Tron Off-Road concept is based on the sleeker Q6 Sportback E-Tron body style. Currently, only the regular Q6 E-Tron is available to order in the U.S. It's available for the 2025 model year and is priced from $65,095, including a $1,295 destination charge.

This is the new Audi Q6 e-tron off-road concept: an extreme, apocalypse-ready version of the brand’s latest and greatest electric SUV that’s apparently ready to take “off-roading to the next level” by “redefining quattro”.

Audi teased a more rugged EV in 2023 with the Activesphere concept, which was based on the same Premium Platform Electric (PPE) as the Q6 E-Tron. PPE, which brings high-power charging hardware pioneered in the Audi E-Tron GT to more EVs, is also shared with the A6 E-Tron sedan and the electric version of the Porsche Macan.
