After the entire Wicked press tour, and considering the pink and green looks from last year's Oscars, I knew Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo would slay at this year’s Academy Awards. However, I didn't expect them to actually defy gravity with their gowns!

NEW YORK (AP) — Ariana Grande did her Glinda proud in a pale pink stunner, and her “Wicked” bestie Cynthia Erivo honored Elphaba in deep forest green on the Oscars carpet as high glam took over Sunday. Others went for bold red, classic black and pops of pink.

Ariana Grande closed out awards season at the Oscars 2025 in a Glinda-inspired look featuring 190,000 crystals and rhinestones. The 'Wicked' star is a first-time nominee up for Best Supporting Actress and will perform with Cynthia Erivo.
