Usha Vance made a pink statement at Donald Trump’s second inauguration ceremony on Monday in Washington, D.C., where her husband, JD Vance, was sworn in as the Vice President of the United States. She wore a tailored Oscar de la Renta ensemble for the occasion.

At the US presidential inauguration parade, Usha Vance made a statement in a bubblegum pink outfit. She is the first Indian-origin second lady of the US.

The current First Lady, Melania Trump, notably wore Oscar de la Renta in 2017 as she donned an emerald green dress while in the company of Queen Rania of Jordan. The number figure-hugging number featured draped detailing on the bodice and was cinched at the waist with a stylish black belt.

Oscar de la Renta, the person, was an immigrant from Dominican Republic who passed away in 2014. During his career he dressed several first ladies, including Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush. He was also friendly with Nancy Reagan, and is often credited for the “Reagan red” with which she is often associated.

For the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies, Second Lady Usha Vance wore a custom peony cashmere coat with scarf wrap and complementing tea-length dress. Its price is unknown, but Oscar de la Renta's site lists coats ranging from $3,490 to just under $9,000.
