Macy's set to close in Sacramento's Downtown Commons, Sunrise Mall
Department store giant Macy's announced it would be closing two Sacramento-area locations this year. The retailer said it would be closing its locations in Downtown Commons (DOCO) and at Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Macy's announced Thursday it's planning to close 66 "unproductive" stores nationwide, including two prominent locations in the Sacramento area. The New York City-based retailer plans to close the stores at Downtown Commons in Sacramento, and Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights.
