Tulsi Gabbard is seeking to assuage senators’ concerns about her in a new opinion piece explaining why she thought "traitor" was too harsh a word for Edward Snowden.

Alina Habba, counselor to President Trump, said she expected Gabbard and other picks to be confirmed. The nominees “are the people he selected for a reason,” she said on Fox N

Based on a dossier financed by Hillary Clinton’s campaign, Gabbard accused intelligence agencies of abusing their power, citing the FBI’s misuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to spy on Carter Page, a Trump campaign aide.
