Everton are into the fifth round of this season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Walton Hall Park in a fourth round tie this evening. Going into the game, The Toffees had never lost at home to Spurs and they continued that record thanks to goals from Kelly Gago and Heather Payne.

Brian Sorensen singled out midfield star Honoka Hayashi for praise after a first goal for Kelly Gago and a late strike from substitute Heather Payne saw Everton Women book their place in the fifth round of the Women’s FA Cup at the expense of Tottenham Hotspur.

With the Adobe Women’s FA Cup 5th Round on the second weekend of February, the last four 4th Round ties are being played this Wednesday.
