A sprawling blob of Siberian cold will settle over the region in the coming days, dropping temperatures in Fayetteville into the low teens. Highs probably won't climb above freezing for days, and the wind chills at night could dip into the single digits.

Snow showers will gradually come to an end this morning, and the cold front associated with the system will make its way through. With that, winds are expected to pick up this afternoon. We could see wind gusts up to 25 mph or even 30 at times.
