The second-ranked Boston College men’s hockey team completed its weekend, and season, sweep over No. 6 Providence with a 4-1 victory on Saturday evening at Schneider Arena. Gabe Perreault, Jake Sondreal, Ryan Leonard and Teddy Stiga each scored a goal for the Eagles.

The No. 2 Boston College Eagles (15-4-1, 8-3-1 HE) men’s hockey team is looking sweep the No. 6 Providence Friars (15-4-2, 5-3-2 HE) as the two play the series finale on Saturday night.

Boston College men’s hockey defeated Providence 4-1 tonight, completing the weekend sweep despite being outshot 31-24 in this evening’s game. BC’s first goal was from James Hagens to Gabe Perreault, and BC took a 1-0 lead into intermission because of that goal.
