Chelsea staged a big first-half comeback to march into the semifinals of the Women’s Champions League with a 3-0 victory over Manchester City.

For a third year running, Chelsea will face champions Barcelona in the semi-finals. It was Barcelona who hammered Chelsea 4-0 in their first ever final in 2021 and, while they ran them close in the past two seasons, they are opponents against whom they have come up short time after time.

Barcelona midfielder Pedri said he is putting team trophies ahead of individual accolades this season and would only want to be awarded the Ballon d'Or if his side won the Champions League and completed the treble.
