The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has categorically dismissed rumors claiming that Imran Khan's name would be removed from a section of Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has dismissed speculation that legendary cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan's name would be removed from an enclosure at the recently-renovated Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore owing to his incarceration on charges of corruption.

The board has strongly rejected any notion of having removed the Imran Khan enclosure despite the former Prime Minister getting sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment over a corruption case. The case for which Imran has been sentenced to imprisonment involves he and his wife being accused of receiving a parcel of land as bribe from a real estate businessman via the Al-Qadir Trust established when he held the office.
