While temperatures are rising and we're on our way out of the sub-zero temperatures we saw earlier this week, the snow still won't quit.

As temperatures remain below zero, with the wind making it even colder, hundreds of schools are closed. The Wednesday closures started pouring in on Monday, with many districts electing to cancel classes both Tuesday and Wednesday due to the forecasted blast of cold that won't subside until later this week.

Dangerously cold temperatures have prompted hundreds of school districts across Southeast Michigan to close for Tuesday, with some also announcing closures for Wednesday. A cold weather advisory is in effect through Wednesday across the region.
