Depp's second directorial feature has its world premiere at the 72nd San Sebastian Film Festival Tuesday night as its cast implored the industry to rediscover their love for the actor-director before they hit the red carpet.

A group of international journalists abandoned a press junket for the Johnny Depp film “Modi” at the San Sebastian Film Festival on Tuesday in the latest escalation of a growing row from within the industry over press access to talent.

There were cheers of “bravo” and an uncharacteristically long-standing ovation this evening in San Sebastian as the credits rolled on Johnny Depp’s second directorial effort Modi – Three Days On The Wing Of Madness.

A dozen journalists who were due to interview Johnny Depp on new film Modi at the San Sebastian Film Festival on Tuesday walked out of the junket in protest after the publicists running the event tried to shoehorn them all into one shortened roundtable session.
