Tennessee basketball's unbeaten non-conference record sets the Vols up well in the NCAA Tournament picture. The Vols (13-0) will have numerous chances to add to a 3-0 Quadrant 1 record via a daunting SEC schedule. Wins over Illinois and Baylor earlier this season will also help.

Three teams ranked inside the top 10 of the USA TODAY Coaches Poll already have a loss. A pair of teams in the preseason top 25 are 0-2, as road trips feel like swimming against the current, and nine conference wins should make teams a lock for the NCAA Tournament.
