Jaythan Gilder, 32, is accused of posing as a representative of an Orlando Magic player before he swiped two pairs of earrings worth $769,500 from a Tiffany & Co. in Orlando, police said.

Police in Orlando, Florida, have arrested a man who allegedly attempted to steal $770,000 worth of diamonds by swallowing them. Jaythan Gilder, 32, was arrested Feb. 28 in connection with a robbery two days earlier at a Tiffany & Co.

Florida deputies have responded to reports of shots being fired at Naval Air Station Pensacola, but no shooter or victims were immediately found, officials said.
