After visiting the Tar Heels in early September, Rolesville High School (N.C.) junior edge rusher Zavion Griffin-Haynes committed to then-UNC football head coach Mack Brown. But soon after the program parted ways with the 73-year-old in late November, the 6-foot-6, 220-pound four-star backed out his pledge.

Bill Belichick is aiming to hire IMG Academy head coach Billy Miller to join his football staff at the University of North Carolina, according to multiple reports. 247 Sports first reported Belichick is eyeing Miller, who has coached at the Bradenton private sports academy since 2014.

The calendar has officially flipped to 2025 and it will begin a busy month for the UNC football program under Bill Belichick. The head coach mentioned that it would be a busy month on the recruiting trail as UNC looks to re-shape the roster moving forward.
